“While a number of her dogs were running around having fun, one in all her smaller dogs was sitting on the sting of the causeway once she detected a crocodilian reptile came up and took it down into the water,” Duty Superintendant James O’Brien explained. “She was very frightened and jumped in immediately, fearing for her dog’s safety.

And whereas the 52-year-old girl and her dog were each agitated from the attack, she didn’t blame the wild animal for doing what's natural and told the police she’d be a lot of careful and keep her dogs on leashes.
